1891-2008

Founded in 1891, Ali Şifa started to sell wedding rings and earrings. When in 1923, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk started to rule the country in a modern way, Ali Şifa specialized in selling the old Osmanian coins to be used as jewellery. In 1940, his son Nevzat Şifa enlarged the company and focussed on oriental jewels. In the year 1979 the grandson Reyhan Şifa, took over the business and made the offer attractive for the European market. At this moment Şifalar Jewellery Co, ltd. stands for a factory in Istanbul, wholesaler and an own workshop in the old harbour of Alanya and international customers.
